Baked Tuna Chow Mein Casserole

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon butter or margarine

1 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 tablespoon chopped green pepper

1 tablespoon butter

7 oz can tuna

10 1/2 oz cream of mushroom soup

1 condensed

1 cup chow mein noodles

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup chow mein noodles

 

Instructions:

  1. In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole,

melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in Microwave Oven 30 seconds.

  1. Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter. Heat,

uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until vegetables are

tender.

3. Combine remaining ingredients except 1/3 cup chow mein

noodles with vegetables Blend well. Top with 1/3 cup of chow mein

noodles. Heat in Microwave Oven, uncovered, 10 minutes or until

sauce bubbles.
