Some history on Neshaminy Creek Brewing began in June of 2010 and officially opened for beer sales on June 1, 2012. Located: 909 Ray Ave, Croydon, Pennsylvania just north of Bristol but just blocks off the shores of the Delaware River. They offer five year round beers: Trauger Pilsner, County Line IPA, Croydon Cream Ale, Churchville Lager, and Tribute Belgian Triple. We also brew a variety of seasonal offerings like Mud bank Milk Stout (January/February), Leon Russian Imperial Stout (March/April), High-water Hefeweizen (May/June/July), Dunks Ferry Dunkel weizen my favorite (August/September/October), and The Neshaminator (November/December).
I was there to see to see buddy blanch and the band ROMEO DELIGHT – “THE ULTIMATE VAN HALEN TRIBUTE BAND” (@romeodelight1) they were AWESOME as usual. They played multiple sets that rocked the warehouse packed with beer. Buddy, makes it so personal with his and the bands energy felt is just off the meter. It was one of the best performances of the band I have ever seen. Buddy Blanch and Band, can sing the catalog of Van Halen, both Sammy Hagar and Diamond David Lee Roth. The bands guitarist does the full tribute to Eddie Van Halen, Awesome, Awesome, and Awesome!!!
They had two road trucks but really enjoyed the The Meat Wagon BBQ (@meatwagonbbq) Ok, here my review: I had the chance to sample four items: The pull pork was moist prepared and done to temp. Note I did not have to use any sauce tasting really good meats. Shred beef also fantastic season just right including both Beef Ribs & Pork Ribs outstanding nice smoke. Sides were prepared well and uniformly cut. Flavor not sugar is what I look for when doing BBQ. Most important to me was the cleanliness of their truck. It was spotless meaning clean. I watched them for 15 minutes before saying Hi. I demand clean environments and the temping of food. It Basic, I found their food to be Fantastic and some of the highest quality gourmet BBQ. Closing, I enjoyed my afternoon at Neshaminy Creek Brew Fest found it to be inexpensive, parking can be difficult and that the neighbors in that hood are cool.
